Denquar was born in Hong Kong to a Thai father and British mother. Having a musician as a father, music was introduced to her very early on and is still a huge part of her identity. She spent a few early years in Phuket with her mother and finally moved backed to Hong Kong for a better life.
Denquar which in Thai means "Cucumber" has always been her nickname. She still speaks a bit of Cantonese and Thai.

Gary Brightman announces the new VIBErations Podcasts for VIBE Book & Music Shop in Mui Wo on Lantau Island in Hong Kong
BIO
Hong Kong based British filmmaker Gaz Brightman doesn’t come from an orthodox film-making background. Having spent over 30 years in the Banking and Information Technology sector in both London and Hong Kong, he changed tack, retired from IT, and took on a more creative lifestyle.
In 2013, he went back to school, studying at the International Academy of Film & Television (IAFT, HK) and graduated with a Diploma in Film Making.
The same year he was commissioned by Dragon Horse Films to screen write a family feature film set in Hong Kong & China. The script is complete and the film awaits funding.
A wealth of life experiences has given him a strong work ethic, a healthy sense of humour, plenty of motivation, while never denting his youthful personality.
In 2015, he founded and registered ManBright Films Ltd in Hong Kong.
In 2018, he founded VIBE Book & Music Shop in Silvermine Bay, Mui Wo on Lantau Island in Hong Kong.
On 10th September 2020 he created VIBErations podcasts with a view to promoting both VIBE and local Lantau based businesses.
